KNOWN PROBLEMS AND LIMITATIONS ============================== - documentation is not updated - some beans are prototypes (for IA project) FAQ === Q: Cannot execute compressed HTML help format. A: The Processor Expert uses for main part of documentation advantages of Microsoft compressed help files (*.CHM). For view compressed help it is required Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.02 with update or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01. If you have problems to execute help succesfully, please look first to Microsoft HTML Help FAQ at http://www.microsoft.com/workshop/author/htmlhelp/faq.asp If you cannot solve your problem please ask us about documentation in HTML form. This uncompressed HTML documentation is included on CD-ROM of the Processor Expert. DEMO APPLICATIONS ================= Demo projects are located in subdirectory "ReferenceProjects". Tutorials ---------------- - Tutorial01 - Tutorial02 Tutorial projects described in the documentation. DEMO projects, examples ----------------------- - PeriodicalInt Example of the TimerInt and the BitIO bean. - Usart Example of asychronous serial communication bean. There are two demo projets. One for communication using interrupts and the other using the polling mode. - Watch Example of WatchDog usage and internal Flash programming. FL1 reference DEMO projects for CBR ------------------------------------ - Demo clock Shows an actual time on the LCD display. - Demo sound Tone generator. Periodically plays predefined tones. - Demo comm Communication demo. One FL1 board sends actual time to the other FL1 board. - Demo period Period measuring of the external signal. - Demo switch Light detection. Sound is generated if light is detect. - Demo demo Very complex project. This project has same behavior as the original firmware provided with the FL1 reference board. This project is compatible with the PC software. It means, that it’s possible to use this firmware with an existing application "COP8Flash.exe” - BoardVoltMeter On-board voltage measurement. - BoardCurrentMeter On-board current measurement. - ExtVoltMeter External voltage measurement. - ExtCurrentMeter External current measurement. - LightMeter Light intensity measurement. - TempMeter Temperature measurement. - SWUart The software UART communication. IO-Connect DEMO projects -------------------------- Author: Michael Hansen, IO-Connect, info@io-connect.com - CopDice The electronic dice. - MotorInternalADC The purpose of the project is to make a simple motor control application that is able to control the speed of two individual DC motors based on the input from an analog joystick by force of an internal ADC. - TachoMeter Measurement of the speed in rounds per minute (RPM). The RPM is shown as a bar graph with 16 LEDs. - COP8_InetAccess Internet access project. REVISION HISTORY ================ current version: - MCU Block Diagrams supported in PE IDE - Bean Selector supported in PE IDE - it's possible to add bean on from peripheral popup menu (from MCU Block diag. or CPU package) - COP8 SBE derivarives supported - COP8 TAA/TAB/TAC derivatives supported - AJC/AKC derivatives are not supported in this version - internal editor enhanced and improved, options added - inheritance and bean sharing model enhanced - Internet Access beans and project included - other new beans for external devices - many other enhancements and minor bug fixes - Simulator 1.17 with TAA/TAB/TAC derivatives support. Oct 9, 2001 - version PE 2.67 - COP8 SAA and SGR derivatives supported - memory map improved, data and code memory separated, used memory is displayed after compilation (information is read from MAP file) - Beans Palette Editor improved - settings of memory for DATA and STACK improved, detail description added into documentation - some minor bugs fixed Aug 28, 2001 - version 2.64.1 released DOCUMENTATION UPDATES --------------------- Online help is updated against the printout.
