FlashKit Serial Programmer 2.9 SW for Fujitsu 16LX |
|
April 23rd, 2004 FlashKit Serial Programmer 2.9 SW
What is new:- FlashKit 2.9 - in batch programming when verification fails due different data in the Flash, errorlevel reported success (value 0) although text description was correct . Fixed. In batch programming added new errorlevel nr. 13 for I/O error (creating files, etc.). See multiflash.bat.
- The support for the following CPUs was added: MB90F548G, MB90F562B, MB90F497G, MB90F543G, MB90F546G
Note: The CPUs with the "G" postfix support to change the PLL setting also in the serial programming mode. Therefore, these CPUs support higher baud rates in the asynchronous mode. The MB90F562B CPU supports the "Flash security" feature (which is not supported by the standard MB90F562 version) - The new "Speed" option was added to the main window. This allows to select the baud rate for all devices, which can change the PLL setting in serial programming mode.
- When the "Auto program" or "Write file" function is invoked, the date&time of the file is checked. If it is different from the last time, the file is reloaded automatically.
- The "External watchdog triggering" function was added (see menu Options|Settings, tab "Synchronous" - option "Trigger pulses"). If enabled, the watchdog trigger pulses are generated on the pin PIO1 of the box programming connector. With these pulses, an external watchdog on the user target board can be triggered, so the programming is possible even when the external watchdog HW is enabled during the programming of the CPU.
- New option "CPU Operating Mode after Auto Program" was added (see menu Options|Settings, tab "Synchronous"). This option allows to select the CPU operating mode after the Auto Program function is finished. The possible CPU modes are: "Single chip mode", "Programming mode" and "Tristate".
- Workaround solution for the "Pulldown on MD2" issue was implemented in this version. The "Pulldown on MD2" issue concerns the user target boards, which have a hard-wired pulldown < 50kO connected to the MD2 CPU line. It was impossible to program such boards in synchronous mode using the older version of FlashKit programmer, because the serial programmer box open-collector driver of the MD2 line could not set the voltage of such a MD2 line to the "high" level. The workaround solution uses a modified programming cable. The description of this solution can be found in the Appendix B of the FlashKit manual.
- Workaround solution for the "Pulldown on MD2" issue plus "CPU Operating Mode after Auto Program" was implemented also for command line programming.
Please read complete installation notes before installation. |

DevKit16 and CAN interface for Fujitsu 16LX |
|
January 9th, 2002
If CAN interface is not used in the DevKit16 and the appropriate CPU I/O pins (which are connected though the jumpers to the CAN chip - default setting) are used as a general I/O pins, it is necessary to remove these jumpers as follows: jumper J24 - position 5-6 jumper J25 - position 5-6 It means that the pins P95 and P97 on the CPU 543 and pin P44 on the CPU 497 will not be connected to the CAN chip (82C250). It is important to disconnect these pins, because the unused CAN chip can damage the connected device to the port. |
